It is made up of several areas and neighborhoods that included business centers, cultural centers, medical and university areas. Quezon City is predominantly Roman Catholic (90% of the population), and is home to many religious institutions of higher education. Climate and Physical Environment
The city lies on the hills on the northeast of Manila, with most of the northeastern part of the city on the Sierra Madre mountain range, with elevations reaching more than 300 meters. The average temperature is in the 80's most of the year, and with high humidity. Quezon's long rainy season brings heavy downpours and over 10 inches of precipitation each month in June, July and August.
Restaurants & Cultural Scene
The restaurant and entertainment district are along Tomas Morato and Timog Avenues and offer a variety of restaurants, pubs, gay bars and entertainment. Most of the Filipino entertainment shows and movies are produced here, and Quezon City has been called the "Filipino Hollywood".

Quezon City is the country's most densely populated city, and as with most large cities there are neighborhoods that are safer than others.

Transportation
Quezon City has public transport with buses, jeepneys and taxis. Skyway is the only elevated expressway passing through Quezon City. The nearest airport is Ninoy Aquino International Airport, about 15 miles away.
